Link in Bio on your Instagram is prime real estate. Are you using it wisely?
Transcription of the video:
hi my name is Branka and today I want to talk to you about social media specifically about Instagram and the prime real estate you have on your Instagram account which would be link
I've noticed a lot of instagramers link to a third party website, usually linktree, to get more link options. So they go from Instagram, link-in-bio, linktree and on their linktree page they'll have a Facebook page link, LinkedIn profile link, Youtube link and so on, including affiliate links.
Now of course I understand this it's a great way to get more links from one, but what I'm wondering is why are you not sending traffic to your own website!?
A lot of people don't have websites, right?
However for less than hundred dollars a year you can have your own website and then send all the traffic to your website. Why would you want to do that, you're wondering? Well number one it's your website, you have full control over it, you can still make a list of links, put images, do whatever you want – it's your
But for one main reason I'm saying you should really do this and that is to send traffic from Instagram, link in bio, your own website and then Facebook pixel your page!
Facebook pixel will allow you to send all those people that land on that page these amazing Facebook ads and then get more from the traffic you're getting from Instagram.
When you send them to linktree they may go to your YouTube account may subscribe, may not, they may go to linktree and say wow what is this and leave.
Once you Facebook pixel all that traffic you can pretty much do anything with it, you can do Facebook ads, you can then create look-alike audiences that you will serve your ads to people that are “look alike” to the people you already sent to your website.
When you have people coming to your website you have full control over the content, you can send them / spread them all over your website, show them new things, you can put them on your email list, simply said the traffic you get from social media should be streamlined to your own website. There are many advantages of Facebook pixel and many advantages of having your own website so I really highly recommend stop using third-party websites and use your own.
Less than 100 dollars a year?
Totally worth it!
